‘Selfistry is the art of being human.

No experience necessary.

I welcome you as you are.’

– Sarah Marshank

What is Selfistry?

Selfistry is common sense spirituality providing the opportunity for a radical embodiment of self. Authentic learning happens when the student is held in a container of acceptance, safety and wisdom, and then given the opportunity to discover their own knowing. Selfistry will support you to find your self anew and give you the tools to align with a more authentic life.

During this fun and transformative retreat you will investigate the three domains within Selfistry’s philosophy: Source, Self, and Witness. You’ll explore and discover yourself within a small, intimate group and forge a lifestyle conducive to sustainable transformation.

Integrating philosophy and psychology with meditative and somatic practices, Selfistry teaches the artistry of being human.

‘Discover who you really are, why you’re alive,

and what only you can offer the world at this critical moment in history’.

Is Selfistry for you?

Are you are looking for a deeper contact with yourself and others?

Do you have a longing for more connection with God, Source, Essence…?

Do you desire a deeper dimension of life and it’s meaning?

Do you feel lost in the world or lack a sense of identity?

If you said ‘yes’ to even one of these, Selfistry can help you.

This retreat can help bring you focus, clarity, purpose, connection and so much more!

Sarah Rose Marshank

Being born into a Jewish family with Polish ancestry, Sarah is especially drawn to towards sharing Selfistry in Poland and immersing herself in the people and culture of her roots.

Sarah is devoted to exploring the essential human nature that lives in each of us, and nurturing the unique human expression of that mysterious essence. After starting her career in higher education, she ultimately found that the structure and limitations of the academic system were inadequate for the course of self-knowledge she was seeking and decided to leave it all to search for deeper wisdom on her own.

She spent ten years in retreat studying, contemplating and practicing various tools for transformation. She studied traditional religious texts, esoteric teachings, and philosophy and practiced Yoga, Pranayama, and practiced meditation daily. She also experimented with more extreme asceticism including austerities such as fasting, voluntary simplicity, and long periods of silence. Sarah explored the teachings of Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Native Peoples, Advaita Vedanta/Hinduism, Tantra, Toltec Wisdom and the Tao and sought to glean the gold from each and weave them into her personal understanding of the human condition and the right way to live.

Feeling moved to share her experiences and insight, she picked up where she left off as an educator, and created Selfistry.

What do previous participants have to say about their experiences?

I met Sarah Marshank in California, in a very magical place. The fact that there will be a retreat organized by Kamila in the Bieszczady mountains is a wonderful chance for women from Poland to meet someone who has walked an unbelievable road to get to where she is now and shares her wisdom as well as the fruit of her practice with others. The workshop with her is a transformational experience. I don’t recommend it to those who have never had any experience with meditation or so-called “body work”. I recommend it, though, to the rest of you.

Flying School for Women

The series of workshops with Sarah were a wonderful and relaxing experience. Every exercise that followed gave me a greater look into my Self, as well as room for a new integration of movement and emotion. And, well, Sarah has a wonderful playlist 🙂

Dorota Sosnowska

It was an unbelievable experience of womanly power and energy. The wisdom of women from all over the map, so far and yet so close. Sarah has that something in her that’s hard to define. It’s worth experiencing. I highly recommend it.

Monika Yolk

I don’t know what to write. It was too personal.

Dorota Grądzka

Natura Życia

‘There’s no dogma in Selfistry, no right or wrong way to be or do it.

There’s simply an invitation for you to discover for yourself

who you are and why you’re here’.

– Sarah Marshank
